Thank you for your interest in the the Network for a Healthy California -- Children's Power Play! Campaign, Bay Area Region, administered through the U.C. Cooperative Extension. The U.C. Cooperative Extension - Alameda County, is one of eleven lead agencies in California responsible for the implementation of the Campaign and oversight of regional coalition development.
The Bay Area Region covers six counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara) and works through six channels, including schools, community youth organizations, farmers' markets, supermarkets, food services/restaurants, and the media. The Bay Area Children's Power Play! Campaign is part of the Bay Area Regional Network (BARNN), out of the Nutrition and Wellness Unit out of Santa Clara County Public Health Department.
